Achim is a non-profit organization established by visionary philanthropist Marc Schimmel and Motti Eichler. Its goal is to capitalize on the economic potential of the chareidi community through a variety of entrepreneurial and business projects, among them:
- A global business network to support chareidi entrepreneurs and up-and-coming businessmen in establishing and growing their businesses.
- Two business centers, in Jerusalem and in Bnei Brak, with plans underway for more in major Jewish centers around the world.
- Bereishis – Achim’s employment arm, established to tap into the chareidi sector’s human capital for the mutual benefit of the chareidi community and Israeli businesses and corporations. To date Bereishis has placed over 15,000 chareidim in jobs.
- The Achim Loan Fund, which assists small businesses and startups with finding angel investors and initial funding.
Achim has become a global movement of hundreds of chareidi entrepreneurs, freelancers and business people committed to the values of business ethics and mutual assistance. Our business community provides a forum for the exchange of ideas, information and expert advice on all things business related. In addition, Achim’s business centers offer courses, workshops and lectures on a variety of topics following current trends in business and technology, given by top industry professionals from Israel and abroad.
